Pada 8 Jun 2012, Pihak media prima bersama dengan kerajaan telah mengadakan Jelajah Janji Ditepai di Kulim High-Tech Park berhadapan dengan Fuji Electronik Kulim.
Banyak aktiviti telah diadakan seperti permainan futsal, sukaneka, kensert, dan banyak lagi. Jelajah ini berlangsung selama satu hari.



Ramai yang hadir semasa jelajah tersebut. Ini menunjukkan semangat 1 Malaysia yang ditunjukan oleh penduduk di Kulim, Kedah sangat memberangsangkan. Inilah yang kita mahu daripada semua rakyat Malaysia.

Jelajah Janji Ditepati (JJD) Carnival

KULIM: The Kulim Hi-Tech Park here is going to be abuzz on Friday when afternoon prayers end, with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak expected to arrive at the "Jelajah Janji Ditepati" (JJD) carnival at 2.45pm.

Najib will be meeting thousands of visitors at the carnival, expected to draw a crowd of 50,000 people.

Apart from meeting the prime minister, visitors will get to take part in various activities suitable for both adults and children.

They can learn more about the various government agencies and what they do, and view the 1Malaysia housing programme (PR1MA) showroom.

They can also learn more about the Kedai Rakyat 1Malaysia (KR1M) stores and products under the 1Malaysia brand, said JJD project coordinator Azhar Borhan.

"We will have many booths set up to give visitors various information as the event continues into the night with fun activities like games and performances for everyone."

Azhar, who is Primeworks Studios Sdn Bhd business development and operation general manager, said the New Straits Times Press (M) Berhad would also be exhibiting its products to visitors.
Other activities expected to attract visitors include baking, chocolate making, flower arranging and craftmaking demonstrations.

Expecting a big turnout due to promotions of the event in Penang and as far as Baling and Alor Star, there will be 82 tents including a giant one that could shelter about 20,000 people at one time, Azhar added.

Kulim police chief Superintendent Ghuzlan Salleh said the police would be controlling traffic movements in the area, especially at traffic junctions, with the help of Rela personnel and advised the people to give their full cooperation.

Jalan Hi-Tech 1, he said, would be closed from 2pm until the event ended and the people were advised to use Jalan Hi-Tech 2, 3 and 4.

He said there would be parking bays for cars at the Fuji Electric factory and for buses at the business centre on Jalan Hi-Tech 2.

"We advise everyone not to leave any valuables in their vehicles that would attract unwanted attention.

"For those riding their motorcycles to the event, we advise them to bring an extra lock to prevent their bikes from being stolen. "These are just precautions.

"The police will also set up a mobile police beat base on the carnival grounds," he said yesterday. The preparations for the big event is about 75 per cent completed as of yesterday with tents and the main stage up.

The Kedah leg of the tour is the third in Najib's nine-stop JJD programme nationwide.
The event is aimed at showcasing 1Malaysia products and initiatives under the Government Transformation Programme while fostering closer ties with the people.
